Today, the area is still the largest garment district in Taipei City , now specializing in outlet-style shops.

Like most markets in Taiwan, hours of operation for various shops are usually very flexible, generally opening after noon and staying open until there are no customers left, most commonly around 10 PM to midnight. Monday is the day most shops are busy restocking and dealing with outside vendors, so it is recommended to visit on a Tuesday to get the first chance to see new products, or visit on a Sunday to maybe catch discounts on unsold merchandise. Why not visit on both days? There are two ways to reach Wufenpu.

Get ready for a couple of hours of serious clothes shopping. It is an outdoor area with most of it covered and there has got to be several hundred shops selling everyday fashion. I did not notice any designer clothes but still nice designs at very reasonable fixed prices.

There are a few eating stalls at the north end. You may need to buy suitcase to bring home all the stuff you get here. Johnstanno Singapore, Singapore contributions. Cheap clothings and footwear.. Too many to list. You can find Korean and Japanese style of clothings there too. I would say it is a ladies' heaven!! Good to go but even if you missed, you can still find similar clothings in other night markets.

Although it is a typhoon day impending typhoon announcements , there are still many many shops opened. We walked for about hours.

However, remember to have your thirst quenched before going in! It is super difficult to find a drink stall!! As for toilet, we only managed to found one at a park, located at the basement which is the carpark. The toilet is actually above our expectations. We thought it will be quite dirty and smelly but it is actually not. As for the shops there, it is a like a treasure hunt. You have to try to find treasures. I only found those on the racks outside to be worth the price, except those that has fixed price for whole shop.

Try to know a gauge on the price you would buy for the items as it will help a lot! The items are kinda repetitive but price varies. And there are incidents which we really managed to find treasures! We managed to get dresses at NT and my friend managed to get a cardigan at NT!

But the defects are really super duper slight! But you can get it at a super duper discounted price!! So worth it! So do not give it a miss! If you have the time, do visit Wufenpu. Sebas H 1 contribution. Base Station title of the clothing store. Hi everyone, we recently went to Taipei for vacation and went to "wu fen pu" the wholesale market and came across an outlet named "Base station".

The staffs were good with words but don't get cheated by them because they will rush you to buy their clothing, and they will not give you the size you asked for!!! If need to purchase, do check and check before paying and stepping out of the store as they will switch the size of your clothings even after you checked before purchasing!! The price they quote for their clothing are extremely expensive too. Be very careful when purchasing stuffs from them or even better After a while, all the stores start to look the same.

A lot of the clothes are not even cute or on-trend Momma-style clothes , and you can't try anything on! Not worth the digging. My friends who shop here find cute stuff -- but they live here and have tons of time to browse the stalls for gems. If you're a visitor -- forget it. I'd recommend you rather shop the night markets, XiMen, ShiDa areas for a better edited selection of trendy clothes in a more fun environment.

Some shops might state a high price for their clothings, so it's best to walk around first, before deciding on whether to purchase them or not. If you have decided to buy them, try to ask for discount!

The more you buy from them, the more discount you can get! Coreen Singapore, Singapore 35 contributions. I visited Taipei, Taiwan from 30 March to 4 April The most unpleasant experience I had was buying some fruits from the fruit seller on cart on the street at Wu Fen Pu. My daughter choose 2 small wax apples and I choose a small whole pineapple. So this is to caution all who would like to visit Taiwan, to be very careful when buying fruits from a street vendor.

Ask how much they charge before they cut the fruits, so that you can reject if you think it is too expensive. Showing results of Barang yg dijual disini apa saja ya, kebanyakan cerita diatas adalah fashion, apakah ada perlengkapan kamar tidur, spt selimut dan sprei?

Add a reply. Hi,does anyone knows if Wufenpu is open everyday?
